This year saw the 13th year of our Pro Loco Photography Competition.

The competition was open to all age groups and the main rule is that the photograph has to be a scene or artefact of Matlock Bath.

A display showing the shortlisted entries for the competition was held on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th October 2022 in the Pump Room of the Pavilion when members of the public voted for their favourites. In addition, to the voting in person, we also ran online voting.

We received 1500 votes this year. We would like to thank all entrants and hope you will enter again next year. Details of the 2023 competition will be on our website in February 2023.

The Parish Council is extremely grateful to its sponsors – Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mills and Heights of Abraham  for the support they have given to this competition. We are also grateful to those businesses who have offered a ‘Best Picture of’ prize  – Derbyshire Dales (Illuminations), Riverside Kiosk and The Grand Pavilion.
