Our Finance Committee is responsible for ensuring that money is spent wisely and within the budgets set each year.  The Committee works closely with the Responsible Financial Officer to ensure this. 

The Committee also deals with awarding grants to organisations, insurance for the Parish Council, an IT budget, leases and licences as well as subscriptions to organisations.

In addition, to dealing with everything Finance, they also deal with the Clerk’s post.  Annual appraisals are held to support the Clerk/RFO in her work. 

In January of each year, the Finance Committee meets to look at the budget requests for all Committees in order that a precept request can be identified.
