Area Community Forum

The Area Community Forums are meetings where residents can attend to find out about issues relating to their area.  Although we have representation to attend these meetings, most issues are raised outside of the meetings themselves through regular contact with the authorities or through our Closer Working meetings with Derbyshire Dales District Council.  However, residents can notify the Parish Council of issues they wish to be raised and the Parish Council will raise them on their behalf. 

Meetings are held 3 times a year. The forums include the customary Question Time session and issues raised.

As well as Councillors and Senior Officers from the District Council, sessions are attended by representatives from Derbyshire Constabulary, Derbyshire County Council and the Peak District National Park Authority.

The date of the next meeting of the Central area (which includes Matlock Bath) will be posted here once known. Meetings starts at 7.00 pm.  All face-to-face meetings are currently suspended but residents can still raise issues with Full Council who can take them up with the relevant authorities.
